34th Annual Native American Festival

34th Annual Native American Festival

Join us on Saturday, September 19 for our 34th Annual Native American Festival!

The festival will be held at the Vienna, MD ballfield, under the water tower.

We are honored to have Ray Cochise Clark as our arena Director this year. Our Head Male Dancer will be Jason Warwick, and Head Female Dancer will be Tameira Black-Jacobs. Zotigh Singers and War Paint will be returning on drums this year.

We are excited to bring you a day of community, education, and demonstration.

Gates open at 10:00am, and Grand Entry will be at 12:00pm. Admission is $10 dollars per person, children four years of age or younger will be admitted for free. We have groups rates available for groups of ten or more people, but please call ahead or email the tribe in advance.

We ask that you bring a chair or blanket to sit, as seating is limited. This is a rain or shine event, and we will have tents and chairs available for seniors and the handicapped. As always, there are no alcohol, drugs, attitudes, or pets permitted on festival grounds. (Clearly identified service animals will be permitted.)

Please feel free to email the tribe at nausewaiwash@gmail.com with any questions. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there!

(Anyone other than the “Nause-Waiwash Band of Indians” Facebook Page who is claiming to have vending spaces available for this event will be permanently banned from all of our social media accounts.)
